Hi! I'm Charles! I started The Fire Within You Lifestyle Clothing to share my joy of personal growth through the power of faith and Christian positivity from a Catholic perspective.

We all do things that we don’t feel like doing. Several times a week, my mind and my heart know what I need to do, but my body doesn’t want to do it.

Many people ask me: how do you wake up at 4:00 AM and go to the gym? How do you get to work and finish everything you need to do? How do you balance work life with family life? How do you do things that you don’t always want to do?

My short answer: By the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within each one of us.

The Fire Within You is the Divinity Within You

St. Paul says that fire within us is the Holy Spirit: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:19).  As the dwelling place of the divine, we can confidently say, “I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me” (Philippians 4:13).

 The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that we share in the divinity of Jesus:

 The Word became flesh to make us “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet. 1:4). “For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of man: so that man, by entering into communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God” (St. Irenaeus, adv. haeres 3, 19, 1: PG 7/1, 939). “For the Son of God became man so that we might become God” (St. Athanasius, De inc., 54, 3: PG 25, 192B). “The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods” (St. Thomas Aquinas, Opusc., 57:1-4). Ignite the Fire Within You

The fire within you is a metaphor of the Holy Spirit—the Divinity within you—working in your life every day. 

When you ignite a deep inner passion, excitement, or desire—a personal drive for a goal, mission, or commitment—that’s the fire within you. 

When you ignite a sense of purpose or internal compass, that force that keeps you aligned with your true calling, that’s the fire within you. 

When you ignite that internal energy that makes you take action and persevere, even under challenging circumstances, that’s the fire within you. 

When you ignite your resilience, your mental toughness, those inner qualities that allow you to bounce back after hardships and stay strong in the face of difficulty, that’s the fire within you. 

When you ignite a time of purification and transformation, when you start a journey of personal growth, change, or evolution that burns away old habits to create something new, that’s the fire within you. 

When you ignite your life force, that divine energy that keeps you alive and engaged with the world, experiencing the zest for life and the vitality that drives you to expand your potential and live more fully, that’s the fire within you.
